Paweł Herczyński appointed Director in the European External Action Service

Pawel Herczyński was appointed as Director for the Security Policy and Conflict Prevention (SecPol) in the European External Action Service (EEAS). Mr Herczyński is currently serving as  Representative of Poland to the EU Political and Security Committee (PSC). He is a senior Polish diplomat who has also served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Poland to the United Nations, Deputy Director of the Department of the European Union and Department of Africa and the Middle East in the Polish Foreign Ministry and Deputy Representative of Poland to NATO Political Committee.
