MFA: Mościcka-Dendys on employment of Polish citizens at international organisations

News

Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, Undersecretary of State at the MFA, talked in Brussels on Thursday about the possibilities of increasing the number of Polish citizens working at international institutions. The deputy minister met representatives from the European External Action Service, the European Commission, the Council and the European Parliament.

The deputy minister talked about the situation of Polish citizens who already work at the international organisations, especially at the EEAS.

“The tenth anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union is a suitable occasion for strengthening and increasing the presence of Polish citizens in EU structures so that it reflects Poland’s potential and position in the European Union,” she stressed.

The deputy minister had a meeting with national experts, the staff of the Permanent Representation to the EU, and the representatives from Network.PL, an association of Polish civil servants who work at international institutions.

For many years now, the MFA has been running information campaigns on employment possibilities at international organisations and on preparations for EU competitions organised by the European Personnel Selection Office. Another recruitment procedure is currently under way for open competitions for future EU officials.
